Wix websites

In today's lesson we learnt how to customise our website using the already available template's by editing and uploading picture's that we saved in the previous lesson.
You can change the backround colours by pressing the backround button and then changing the effect's such as gradient and full colour.
The good thing about "wix" website's are that you can save them when you want and also publish them when you want, so you won't have to make the whole website in one go.
You can add in animation and moving object's to make it look better and also create links so you can look at other website's.

What i'v learnt (21/9/11)

I'v learnt how to use blogger more effectivly by adding in link's, you can do this by pressing the "Link" button then pasting in the URL from the chosen website.
Then we created a website (only some of it though, we have a lot more to do so it can be published online), we used this site called "wix" (this is a hyperlink to the site so if you want to join you can http://www.wix.com/create/website)
What we also did in the lesson was exploring the available templates on "wix" and seeing which one would suit our topic; witches.
We had to search about witches on google images (a search engine) and then save the one's we were going to use in our website.

lesson two (all about blogs)

this is jessie j's blog http://jessyj.wordpress.com/, this is justin bieber's blog http://justinbieberblog.com/, and this is leona lewis's blog http://www.leonalewismusic.com/us/blog/
A blog (or web log) is something that people can add in their own commentary, recent events and they can even comment on other people and what they're doing by pressing a button at the end of their blog.
Most people use blogs as an online diary as it's much more easier to do so as you can upload pictures, useful websites and email adresses and aloso add in times and tasks to do so your organised.
Blogs can be customised and edited to suit the topic or the persons personallity by pressing design then templates that are avaliable depending on the website your creating the blog with.
Blogs can hold a lot of infomation but not too much as people will find it boring and meaningless to read.
